Spotted: The Bell BlackBerry Storm Mascot!! | CrackBerry.com

via Spotted: The Bell BlackBerry Storm Mascot!! | CrackBerry.com.

The BlackBerry Storm Mascot was spotted by Terry (thanks for sending in!!) running through Toronto earlier this week letting Torontonians know that Bell has the BlackBerry Storm! You can check out two more photos after the jump.

I wonder if being a Research in Motion employee increases my chances of being a Blackberry mascot for an event.

Google Chrome leaves beta before Gmail!

Google Chrome is a browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier.

via Google Chrome – Download a new browser.

What’s the record for longest beta? Gmail has to be up there with 4 years beta time.

Anyways, Chrome lost its beta tag in a matter of months. I use it as a secondary browser. At work, I use for my personal browsing during my breaks and lunch hours and not during work hours ;)

it will be interesting to see if Chrome can get as much market share as Firefox; for now they seem to have leveled off…

Campaign’s top 10 turkeys of 2008 – Campaign Magazine News – Campaign Magazine

Surely only suitcases full of high denomination dollar bills could have induced three of the world’s most famous sports stars – Roger Federer, Tiger Woods and Thierry Henry – to appear together in this truly dire spot promoting Gillette’s latest razor. The budget must have made Cristiano Ronaldo’s potential transfer fee look like loose change. So whatever possessed BBDO – in Campaign’s words – to hand the creative brief to a passing tramp? An own goal, a double fault and a bunker shot all rolled into one.

Gillette spent all of their money on getting the best athletes in the commercial. They used volunteers to produce the commercial. Federer is not completely lost in commercials. He had a cool commercial from Nike.
