    dumbed down vista 

    It was bound to happen. I have been using Vista daily for three months now and I just turned off all of the graphical widgetry that’s turned on by default. It’s always nice to have a pretty looking interface, but 99% of the UI improvements have not gained me any productivity. The only UI improvement that’s better is the File System Navigation. I still, however, primarily use Total Commander to navigate my file system.

    Aero seems only good as chocolate.

    Happy Birthday Alfred! 

    September is definitely birthday time.

    I went to high school with Alfred and we had many adventures together. I haven’t seen or talked to this guy in years, but a big happy birthday goes out to him. This is a picture of Alfred from 10 years ago. It’s crazy how time flies and how quickly and easily we can lose touch.
