Thanksgiving weekend
Yeah, it’s an American thanksgiving…so what?
The only thing better than thanksgiving dinner is two thanksgiving dinners. With the help of Lawrence and his trusty GPS, my dad (yeah he’s in town) and I headed to the eastern woods of Seattle at my boss’ place. It was thanksgiving for Seattle transplants. So that meant Canadians and people from San Francisco. We did not eat the whole day in anticipation of the feasts that night. Luckily, my boss and his wife, Teresa, did not disappoint. The eating did not end at that time because we headed to Tita Beng and Frank’s house after…actually the eating did end for me, but the opportunity was there. I got to catch up with friends that helped me get settled the first time I was in Seattle as an intern. I spent a bunch of time there as an intern and its like a home away from home.
Over the weekend, I also got to watch “Stranger than fiction”. It’s a clever movie and it’s nice to see Will Ferrell wake up from his Talladega night and do some acting.
